Pure Protein Shakes

Remember this post? (why is the link not showing up? It is there so just click the sentence, "Remember this post?" that is right at the beginning). These protein shakes are amazing! I finally tried two different flavors. I have tried the Frosty Chocolate and Vanilla Cream. I liked the Vanilla Cream better. They have 35g of protein, 2-4g of carbs (1g sugar), 1g of fat, and are between 150-180 calories. They are a perfect pre- or post-workout supplement and can even be used as a snack. They help me get my 80g of required protein each day without eating a whole turkey! I am so excited to try the Cookies and Cream and the Strawberry Cream. Now I need to find a good deal on them. If you know of any please let me know.

Do you feel like you have more energy lately? I really feel lethargic lately (more so than usual) and wondering how I can increase my energy levels.

Yes! For the first three weeks I was so tired that all I could do was workout and nap. Now I workout and am only tired for about 30 minutes. I didn't think it could get better, but I am so glad that it did!

That is super exciting! Where are you getting those protein shakes? Have you figured out how to calculate how much protein I might need? It would probably help me a lot as well. I am so happy that you have more energy! YAY!!!

Have you tried EAS protein powder? It comes in vanilla or chocolate. It's quite expensive for the bag ($27.00) but makes tons of shakes. We put it in the blender with frozen bananas, frozen strawberries and frozen blueberries. Pour a little skim milk in and it's super tasty shake smoothy. I love them! Oh, frozen mango is yummy too. I like to use frozen fruit so I don't have to add any ice and my shake is still thick. :) Keep up the awesome work!
