Stairs, Stairs, and more Stairs


On Tuesday, Cameron and I climbed up and down our apartment stairway for a total of 10 minutes. No, these are not our stairs, but I thought a picture would be nice to look at!


Would it be great if these were the stairs we climbed!?

The slide would have made coming down so much more fun! And the double staircase would have helped me not get dizzy as I turned around for the 100th time to climb the stairs again.

Enough about my stairway dreams! HEHE! I am so SORE! I am excited that I could do 10 minutes because it was not as hard as I had imagined. Did I mention that I am sore? I just want to slide down our stairs on my bum like I used to as a kid, instead of walking down them because...OWWWWWW! Feel the burn! It's good, right?

On the weight loss venue, wasn't The Biggest Loser episode 2 so sad?!? I can't believe Joelle is still there! UG! I can't stand her!

Day 2 Report

Yesterday was so much better than the first day. The taste buds were happy.

Breakfast: a slice of whole grain toast with a teaspoon of peanut butter (or almond/apple butter)
Snacks: plain popcorn, fruit, and dessert was a 1/2 C. lowfat vanilla yogurt mixed with 1/4 C. applesauce and some cinnamon! It was delicious!
Lunch: Tuna sandwich on whole grain bread, with lettuce and tomato. Veggies.
Dinner: A small baked potato with 2 Tablespoons low-fat sour cream!, 3 oz. baked chicken, steamed veggies, some salad, and an 80 calorie snack/goody.

Exercise: Remodeling the laundry room; including: cleaning, priming the walls, laying floor, and moving the appliances.

I weighed and measured yesterday morning and plan to weigh every Sunday morning and measure on the first of every month. Hopefully, all of this effort will show. :)
