I can't believe January is almost over! What a whirlwind month it has been. First, we enjoyed 3 days in Salt Lake City. It snowed one day! We got to visit Crystal, Richard, and baby W. My Dad got to see his grandbaby for the first time! So special! We also got to attend an amazing business and personal development seminar! Priceless!
Then, the following weekend, we took our fifth wheel out to Fort Bragg, CA for my brother's Eagle Court of Honor! Sherry and Tony flew in, too! This was a special event that will be remembered forever.
The down side to all the travel is that my back had a flare up and my eating has been poor. I rested last week, to let my back calm down. Yesterday I started working out again. Even though I was dreading it, I love the way I feel just two days in! Yesterday was strength training and today was cardio via dog jogging! We went 2.5 miles in 45 minutes. About an 18 minute mile. I know that is slow, but for me that is HUGE! In the past my back wouldn't allow me to go faster than about 22 minutes/mile. 4 minutes off that time is amazing and I am super excited!
Cameron and I are reading a book called 21 Success Secrets of Self-Made Millionaires and I wanted to share with you my dreams and goals. The book talks about dreaming BIG and writing down your goals as though they already happened. So, enjoy my dreams and goals (if you want).
Dreams: I have an amazing, beautiful home that I get to stay home and keep clean and welcoming! I enjoy training and rehabilitating dogs. I have close friends and family who visit often and are always welcome. I love cooking in my gourmet kitchen and creating wonderful memories in our home. I love celebrating others' lives through pictures and a written note! Oh, there is soooo much more!
Goals: In 2012 I...
1. This year I quit my regular career to focus on more meaningful and fulfilling activities.
2. This year I read more than 12 books!
3. This year I went to the temple with my brother.
4. This year I learned more about myself and became a better person.
5. This year I achieved my goal weight and size!
6. This year we saved 50% of the money we need to buy property.
7. This year we made $10,000 a month!
Again, there are many more!
