Severe Weather

On June 4, we had some CRAZY weather. A thunderstorm like no other moved in for a few hours. The lightning was literally non-stop with multiple strikes occurring simultaneously! At about 1 a.m. a huge strike hit that shook the windows. The dogs were not happy. If I had thought about something other than the fact that I wasn't sleeping and had a 17 hour day of work ahead of me, I might have video taped this myself. Luckily, other people were not as worried about lack of sleep so I found this. It really does not do justice to the storm, but was the best video I could find.

That was amazing! The lightning was going crazy! We had some lightning that same day, but it passed real quick and only got a few strikes. What a night! Seems like the skies were furious! Cool video, I love how the alarm was sounding at first. Glad you are okay too.

wow Angel!!
I remember shortly after moving into our (your) Rocklin house we had a HUGE lightning storm and it was happening in the middle of the night and of course Gene was at work at NEC and I was so totally scared! It was crazy!

Utah has crazy storms! Our first summer here we were hit with storm after storm.. then the past few summers have been really quiet, but now this summer we are back to our fun storms!!

We were waiting for your CA to come and hit us, but all we got here was crazy wind! There's some new snow on the mountains, though. :)

Yay for weather!!

Lucky!!! I am SOOOO jealous! I miss how much it rains in Cali. Everytime it looks like it is going to rain here the clouds go away before it does or it will rain for a few minutes maybe an hour then stop. :( I haven't seen any lighting or heard thunder. I miss it so badly. :(
