High School Tag

School: Del Oro High School
1. Did you date someone from your high school? Yes, my now husband, Cameron! I also went on a TON of group dates.
2. What kind of car did you drive? A white Ford Tempo
3. What was your most embarrassing moment in high school? I never really had one AT school. Plenty away from school though.
4. Were you a party animal? Not in the least.
5. Were you considered a flirt? No. Except toward Cameron!
6. Were you in band, orchestra, or choir? Marching and Concert Band.
7. Were you a nerd? Uh, no. I am not sure if cheerleaders are really ever considered "Nerds", but I did get very good grades.
8. Were you on any varsity teams? Cheerleading.
9. Did you get suspended/expelled? NO!
10. Can you still sing the fight song? Every word! And proudly!
11. Who were your favorite teachers? Mr. Reader (Math), Ms. Winett (Band), and Senora McKinney (Spanish).
12. Where did you sit during lunch? Outside around a tree in the front of the school. That tree no longer exists.
13. School mascot? Golden Eagle
14. Did you go to homecoming and with who? Every year but Freshman year. With....Cameron!
15. If you could go back and do it again, would you? In a heartbeat!
16. What do you remember most about graduation? Sitting in the heat and taking pictures afterward.
17. Where did you go senior skip day? We did not have a skip day, but we did take Amtrak to San Francisco on the second day of Senior Boards since ours were over.
18. Have you gained weight since then? YES! Working on losing it.
19. Who was your prom date? I'll give you three guesses and the first two don't count!
20. Are you planning on going to your 10 year reunion? NO. It is at a bar and I really don't want to. Maybe 20 years.
21. Looking back, what advice would you give to yourself? Cheer senior year and don't get the LOW math grade on purpose Freshman year.
