What do you get when you mix brownie bites,
inside an unlocked truck,
and a bear?!?
A really great and true story! Rocky and Alisa are borrowing our truck while they are camping at Lake Tahoe. Tuesday morning Alisa called and asked if our insurance covered bears. Cameron told me the story. Apparently they, Rocky and Alisa, saw a light go on in the middle of the night. When they looked out of their tent to investigate they saw a bear inside our truck eating brownie bites! They had not locked one of the doors, thankfully or we would have had damage done for sure. And, they forgot that the brownies were still in the truck. So, what was my reaction? I asked, "Did they take a picture?" I thought it was hilarious! No, they did not take a picture. If it was me, I would have had the camera out. I can just imagine how silly it must have looked to see a bear inside the truck eating brownies! Haha! No damage done to the truck but a few bear hairs left behind. How would you have reacted?

I hear the crazy bear story, I didn't know they were after brownie bites. Isn't that crazy they can smell that through a car. I don't know how I would of reacted, I proablly would a freaked.
I probably would have freaked out at first, then after realizing I was safe, I would have gotten out the camera. I agree that pictures of this would have been so fun! :)

I would have thought... "COOL!" and then thought: "DANG, hope he doesn't destroy my truck!"

Holy Crap! Bears can smell brownies inside a car!? Crazy! I probably would've asked about the brownies first! Did he leave any or eat them all?
I probably would've been scared to see a bear so close. But I would have gotten my camera out too, if I thought I could get a good picture without getting close! You are blessed to not have any damage done! Just shows that sometimes there are reasons why doors are left unlocked. :D
How Funny! I'm totally on the bears side though! I would have torn the door off to get to the brownie bites too! Those things are good, but good thing the door was unlocked. You probably thought they were joking when they called you to tell you about the bear. Where's the proof????!!! We want pictures... That would have been hilarious to see. So glad your truck is okay too.
