10 Days Later

Well, I am now feeling a lot better. I went to the Chiropractor on the 14th. I cried the whole time and left feeling the same; but, I expected that. I went again on the 16th, did not cry and left feeling a bit better. On Saturday, I was actually able to walk normal again, but I could not stand up or sit for too long. So, I keep myself down. Monday, the 19th, I went to the Chiropractor again, and was doing much better. I still wasn't feeling back to normal yet (which isn't great anyways). Tuesday, I used a gift certificate I had for a massage. It was painful and the therapist did some intense deep tissue work. Afterwards, I felt amazing! Like I had taken a super-strength pain killer. Wednesday, I felt bruised. I went to the Chiro again, and talked for a long time about my healing. He suggested continuing care mixed with periodic massages. It stinks that what is normally a luxury for people is actually therapy for me. Oh well, I am so THANKFUL that I am able to walk, even with pain. I guess I could say that I am thankful for that pain because it means I can feel. I have faith that I will get better. Anyways, HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
